In honor of Grand Puba's induction into the National Hip-Hop Museum, his classic record RetroActive has been pressed for the first time ever and made available on baby blue vinyl.

Released in 2009, RetroActive highlights the qualities that have made Grand Puba a legend in hip-hop. His smooth, silky flows grace soulful, boom-bap beats with an uncanny elegance. Across his solo career, Puba has had several successful albums, including his 1995 album 2000, which peaked at number five on Billboard's R&B / Hip-Hop Top 200 chart. Puba also furthered his impact in hip-hop as a founding member of hip-hop trio Brand Nubian, best known for their records "Slow Down" and "Wake Up" from their 1990 album One for All. Using his early works to establish a strong fanbase that has expanded and strengthened since the '90s, Puba has solidified his legacy in hip-hop's storied history.

Puba's appearance and performance at the National Hip-Hop Museum's coincides with his induction into the newfound and acclaimed establishment, whose Executive Director is Master Gee, a multi-platinum recording artist, founder and the voice of the legendary hip-hop group, The Sugarhill Gang. Between Puba's contributions to Brand Nubian and his extended solo career, the New York native has collected a long list of accolades and acclaims that make his induction into the National Hip-Hop Museum a no-brainer. As such, to commemorate this accomplishment, Babygrande has released this limited, first-ever pressing of RetroActive.
